Foundations

Our Foundations School will equip you to live a life abandoned to Jesus and help you discover your God-given purpose. Character development, Biblical instruction, and spiritual disciplines are the backbone of the experience. If you hunger for a deeper walk with Jesus, this school is for you!

Character Development
Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
- 1 Samuel 16:7

God is always more interested in what is inside than what is outside; before we can be change-agents in the world, we must be changed ourselves. The Foundations school seeks to raise up men and women with Godly character, who exhibit the Fruits of the Spirit and live Biblical lifestyles. Topics covered in this area include faithfulness in the little, brokenness, humility, spiritual authority, devotion, personal wholeness, and hearing and responding to God.

Biblical Foundations
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the name of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Word of God is the foundation for effective life and ministry, and a thorough understanding of Scripture is one of the school's main objectives. This school takes students through a Bible survey, teachings on the character of God, identity in Christ, theology and doctrine, and church history. Students are also asked to read the entire Bible and memorize multiple verses.
