Requirements for Entry

  • If a student, at least a 3rd year undergrad
  • Following Jesus at least a year
  • Active involvement or leadership/internship in a Lifegroup

Expectations

  • Consistent class attendance
  • Completion of all designated reading and assignments
  • Active participation in all discussion and outreach
  • Taking part in ATS mission trip
  • Full involvement and service within ACC

Schedule

  • Classes will meet every Monday evening (6:00-10:00) and one Saturday a month (9:00-3:00)

  • Fill out complete application
  • Arrange two references to be filled out
  • Turn in completed application and references by deadline
  • Interview with ATS staff

Do you want to develop skills that will help you to minister to people in your life or to enter into the ministry full time? Or do you have a heart to touch the nations with the Good News of Jesus Christ, start planting churches or church-planting movements? Come be a part of the Ministry Training School. We will work on developing these skills through both in-depth teaching and hands-on experience. You'll learn to apply what you've heard, adapt what you need and move ahead with confidence.

Ministry Training
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

In the classroom: ATS provides essential instruction in areas such as church-planting, leadership, conflict resolution, prophetic and apostolic ministry, discipleship and evangelism. Speakers also focus on world religions, the history of missions, world-view and culture.

Hands-on: Knowledge only goes so far; actual experience is invaluable to the training process. ATS requires students to be actively involved in Lifegroup ministry within ACC, which is an ideal environment to live out the things they are learning. There will also be multiple outreach and service opportunities. Finally, there will be a missions outreach in another country led by ATS Staff.
